RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on the 28th November 2025 be signed as a correct record.
RESOLVED: 4.1 That a survey of all current Members be undertaken to get their thoughts on any changes, if any, they would like to see for the 2027 Induction Programme. The results of the survey to be presented to the next meeting of the Democratic Services Committee on 27th November 2026. 4.2 A reminder, together with a deadline for completion of Thinqi badges be sent out to all Members, with an offer of support for completion if required. _______________________________ ______________________ CHAIR DATE
RESOLVED to note that when Committee Members determine the development control matters before them, they should have regard to the Development Plan and, so far as material to applications, to any other material considerations and when taking decisions, Members have to ensure they do not act in a manner that is incompatible with the convention on Human Rights as incorporated into legislation by the Human Rights Act1998.
RESOLVED to note that the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 imposes a duty on public bodies to carry out sustainable development in accordance with the sustainable development principle and to act in a manner which seeks to ensure that the needs of the present are met without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
RESOLVED to approve as an accurate record, the minutes of the meeting of the Planning and Development Committee held on the 02.07.26.
