   General Update

   AGREED to:- (i) note the report for information; and (ii) that all consultation responses to papers be presented to the committee for consideration

   Consideration was given upon the Report on the General update. The report was presented to review and discuss the implementation and progress of the Licensing Act 2003, together with any ancillary matters arising from responsibilities with which this particular Committee was charged. Such ancillary matters include the Gambling Act 2005. The following update was provided:- • Part A: Licensing Act 2003 Associated Matters Contested Applications (Reviews/Appeals) Event Safety Advisory Group Meetings (ESAG) o ‘Big Tribute Festival’, Aberystwyth 25 – 27 August 2023 o Fire In The Mountain, Abermagwr, Aberystwyth: 1 – 5 June 2023 Revised Section 182 Guidance (Licensing Act 2003) • Part B: Gambling Act 2005 Associated Matters o Gambling Act Review White Paper Following questions from the floor on the content of the report, it was AGREED to:- (i) note the report for information; and (ii) that all consultation responses to papers be presented to the committee for consideration
