RESOLVED – T H A T under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part 4 of Schedule 12A (as amended) of the Act, the relevant paragraphs of the Schedule being referred to in brackets after the minute heading.
RESOLVED – T H A T the flexible retirement of R be approved. Reason for decision The officer had indicated their intention to retire from 14th October 2022. This was an area of the service which was under some pressure. R had offered to offer support to the new post holder and support processes to the end of the financial year which also provided an element of greater resilience for the service.

RECOMMENDED – T H A T the minutes of the meeting held on 30th June, 2022 be approved as a correct record.

Consideration was given to the application for flexible redundancy. Having regard to the report and discussions at the meeting, it was subsequently RESOLVED – T H A T the flexible retirement of R be approved.
