RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the previous meeting held on 15th May 2026 as an accurate record.
RESOLVED: “That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act (as amended) for the following items of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of the exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of the Schedule 12A of the Act”.
The newly appointed Chair to the Rhondda Fach Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board introduced herself and welcomed attendees to the meeting.
In accordance with the Code of Conduct, the following personal declarations were made in relation to Item 3 of the agenda: - The Chair, Mrs T Thomas – “Some of the candidates are known to me”; - County Borough Councillor J Edwards – “I know several of the candidates, one of which shares the same employer. I am also named in one of the Expressions of Interests”; - County Borough Councillor J Smith – “I know several of the candidates and I am named in one of the Expressions of Interests”; and - The Director of Housing and Regeneration – “I know or have had business dealings with some of the candidates and one was managed by me some time ago, when they worked for the Local Authority”.
