The Service Director, Democratic Services, Welsh Language & Communications RCTCBC, welcomed everyone to the virtual meeting of the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Public Services Board, Joint Overview & Scrutiny Committee. The Service Director, Democratic Services, Welsh Language & Communications sought Committee’s agreement as the Proper Officer for him to take the meeting until Item 5, the appointment of the Chair and Vice Chair for the 2026/2027 Municipal Year.
Members noted that, as set out within its terms of reference, their core statutory functions include the Five Ways of Working (as set out on the agenda).
The following declarations of interest were made pertaining to the agenda: Councillor Julie Edwards, RCTCBC – “My employer is referenced in the report” Councillor Julie Edwards, RCTCBC – “My employer is referenced as part of the discussions at agenda item 7” Councillor H David, BCBC – “Non Executive Board member of Public Health Wales as mentioned in the discussion at agenda item 7”
The minutes of the virtual meeting held on the 21st April 2026 were approved as an accurate record of the meeting.
