RESOLVED that the post be re-advertised at a later date during 2025, as it was felt by Members that there were no suitable candidates.
The Chair welcomed all to the Committee Meeting and proceeded to Agenda.
RESOLVED – In accordance with the Members Code of Conduct, the following declaration of personal interests in a matter pertaining to the agenda was declared: - County Borough Councillor B. Stephens in respect of agenda item 4, “One of the Applicants is known to me”.
“That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972 (as amended) for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act.”

The Committee held discussions regarding the applicants that had undertaken the first day of the assessment process for the post of Director of Education and Inclusion Service, and it was unanimously RESOLVED that the post be re-advertised at a later date during 2025, as it was felt by Members that there were no suitable candidates.
