RESOLVED to elect County Borough Councillor M. Ashford as Chair of the Voluntary Early Retirement/Redundancy Panel for the Municipal Year 2025/26.
RESOLVED to appoint County Borough Councillor M. Webber BEM as Vice Chair of the Voluntary Early Retirement/Redundancy Panel for the Municipal Year 2025/26.
RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the 14th May 2025 as an accurate reflection of the meeting.
RESOLVED that the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act.
Apologies for absences were received from County Borough Councillor G. O. Jones, Mr C Jones representing GMB and Ms M Edwards representing Unison.
RESOLVED – In accordance with the Members Code of Conduct, the following declaration of personal and prejudicial interest in a matter pertaining to the agenda was declared: - Mr R Evans, Director of Human Resources in respect of agenda item 6, “I’ve worked closely with one of the Applicants and will leave the meeting while this item is being discussed”.
