RESOLVED - (i) To approve the submission of the attached draft response to the inquiry document that invites views and comments on the current systems in place to deliver affordable social housing in Wales. Reason for decisions (i) To respond to the Senedd’s request for evidence to assist its inquiry, within the consultation period, which is due to end on 19 April 2024.

The Chief Officer – Housing submitted a report (COH/19/24) to provide details of a call for evidence being carried out by the Senedd, to consider whether Welsh Government can improve its strategic approach, in order to deliver on its target of 20,000 new low carbon homes for social rent, during the lifetime of the current Senedd five year term.
