RESOLVED – (i) That the submission of a response (as detailed at Appendix 1 to report COET/07/24) to the current Welsh Government consultation on a Road Safety Strategy be approved. (ii) That this matter be dealt with as an urgent item of business in accordance with Section 5 (Rule 5.8.10(e)) of the Council’s Constitution. Reasons for decisions (i) To respond to the Welsh Government’s request for responses to the current consultation exercise scheduled to finish on 15 February 2023. (ii) To ensure Wrexham County Borough Council’s views are considered in the development of a new Road Safety Strategy for Wales. (iii) To ensure that the Council’s response is submitted by the required deadline.
