RESOLVED – That the scheme be APPROVED and reviewed on an annual basis.
RESOLVED - That the Tree Preservation Order (TPO) WCBC 318/2021 – ‘85 Fferm Llidirt Werdd, Coedpoeth, Wrexham’ should be confirmed without modification.
RESOLVED – That the application be DEFERRED. Reason – The applicant has requested the application be deferred as they are waiting for additional swept path analysis from the Fire Department to determine if the site will be accessible by a fire engine.
RESOLVED – That permission be GRANTED in accordance with the recommendation of the Chief Officer Planning and Regulatory as set out in report (COPR 05/22) with the additional condition to secure minimum of 2 disabled parking spaces Additional condition: Notwithstanding the details shown2107-14-ELT-00-00-DR-A-1200, prior to the first use of the development 2 no. mobility spaces shall be laid out in accordance with details that shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The mobility parking spaces shall thereafter be permanently retained and kept free of any obstruction, and made available solely for the parking. Reason: To provide for adequate parking for vehicles clear of the highway and to ensure that sufficient mobility spaces are in accordance with Policies GDP1 and T8 of the Wrexham Unitary Development Plan

The Chief Officer Planning and Regulatory submitted a report (COPR/27/22) to consider renewing the existing interim amendment to the powers delegated to the Chief Officer Planning and Regulatory Services on a permanent basis as well as making some further minor changes to the scheme of delegation. The Head of Service Planning Policy introduced the Report and conformed that it is a continuation of the scheme introduced twelve months ago. RESOLVED – That the scheme be APPROVED and reviewed on an annual basis.

The Chief Officer Planning and Regulatory submitted a report (COPR/12/22) to consider written representations made in respect of Tree Preservation Order (TPO) WCBC 318/2021 – “85 Fferm Llidirt Werdd, Coedpoeth, Wrexham” and to determine whether or not to confirm the TPO and make permanent with or without modification. RESOLVED - That the Tree Preservation Order (TPO) WCBC 318/2021 – ‘85 Fferm Llidirt Werdd, Coedpoeth, Wrexham’ should be confirmed without modification.

The Chair introduced Mr Chris Emery who spoke in support of the application. The Planning Control Manager then introduced the report and highlighted the main points for consideration. Councillor Frank Hemmings, Joint local Member, informed Committee Members that he felt the proposed works would benefit the community and added that he supported the application.
