RESOLVED: (i) That the outgoing Mayor, Councillor Tina Mannering and the outgoing Mayoress, Miss Helen Briscoe, along with one of the nominated Councillors and spouse/partner, represent the Council at one of the 2026 Royal Garden Parties. (ii) That this matter be dealt with as an urgent item of business in accordance with Section 5 (Rule 5.8.10(m)) of the Council’s Constitution. Reason for decision (i) To ensure that the Council is represented at one of the 2026 Royal Garden Parties and that nominations are submitted before the required deadline.

The Chief Officer Governance & Customer submitted a report (COGC/09/26) asking the Leader of the Council to nominate Council guests to attend a Royal Garden Party in 2026.
