RESOLVED – (i) That the consultation response - Draft Welsh Bus Network Plan as outlined in Appendix 1 to report COET/34/25 be submitted to the Welsh Government / Transport for Wales. (ii) That this matter be dealt with as an urgent item of business in accordance with Section 5 (Rule 5.8.10(m)) of the Council’s Constitution. Reasons for decision (i) To respond to the request for responses from statutory consultees to the current consultation scheduled to finish on 7 October 2025. (iii) To ensure Wrexham County Borough Council’s views are considered in the development of the Welsh Bus Network Plan. (iii) To ensure that the Council’s response is submitted by the required deadline.

The Chief Officer Environment and Technical submitted a report (COET/34/25) to share the response of Wrexham County Borough Council to the Welsh Government/Transport for Wales consultation with statutory consultees on the draft Welsh Bus Network Plan.
