RESOLVED - (i) To support and approve the submission of a response (Appendix 1) to the Welsh Government consultation on Learner Travel Operational Guidance. (ii) That this matter be dealt with as an urgent item of business in accordance with Section 5 (Rule 5.8.10(m)) of the Council’s Constitution. Reason for decision: (i) To respond to the Welsh Government’s request for responses to the current consultation exercise scheduled to finish on 10 September 2025, following a deadline extension by Welsh Government. (ii) To ensure Wrexham County Borough Council’s views are considered in the development of the Learner Travel Operational Guidance. (iii) To ensure that the Council’s response is submitted by the required deadline.

The Chief Officer Environment & Technical submitted a report (COET/32/25) to share the response of Wrexham County Borough Council to the consultation on the Learner Travel Operational Guidance.
