   Swansea Bay City Deal Audit of Accounts Report (ISA260) 2023/24.

   Jason Blewitt, Audit Wales, presented the audit of Accounts Report (ISA 260) 2023/24 report in respect of the Swansea Bay City Deal Joint Committee as at 31 March 2024. An unqualified opinion was proposed on the accounts by Audit Wales. Resolved that: 1) The Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee receives and approves the Audit Wales audit of the 2023/2024 Statement of Accounts report for the Swansea Bay City Deal Joint Committee.

   Chris Moore, Section 151 Officer presented a report which sought approval for the Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee Statement of Accounts 2023/24 outlined at Appendix A, for the Swansea Bay City Deal. Resolved that: 1) Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee approves the Joint Committee Annual Statement of Accounts 2023/24 outlined at Appendix A for the Swansea Bay City Deal.

   Letter of Representation to Audit Wales.

   Chris Moore, Section 151 Officer presented a report in order to receive Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee’s formal acknowledgement of the Swansea Bay City Deal Section 151 Officer’s Letter of Representation to Audit Wales. Resolved that: 1) The Swansea Bay City Deal acknowledges the Letter of Representation from the Swansea Bay City Deal Section 151 Officer and the Chair of the Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee to Audit Wales.
