A planning application was presented on behalf of the Head of Planning & City Regeneration. Amendments/updates to this schedule were reported and are indicated below by (#) (Note: Updates to the report referred to below were circulated to Members of the Committee and published on the Council’s website prior to the meeting.) Resolved that the undermentioned planning application be approved: #(Item 1) - Planning Application 2024/1925/S73 - Residential development of 97 dwelling comprising 37 affordable dwellings and 60 private dwellings with associated access, landscaping, drainage and associated works - Variation of condition 2 of planning permission 2021/1820/FUL granted 5th April 2022 (amended by 2024/1924/NMA granted on 07/11/24 to allow for changes to the site layout to allow for land level changes) at Land To The South West Of Beili Glas Farm, Loughor, Swansea A visual presentation was given. Report updated as follows: Two further letters have been received from local residents. One letter queried whether access to the site is to be gained from Highfield. The Case Officer has advised the local resident that it does not. The second letter simply requests that the objector’s comments are taken into account. The comments made by the objectors are summarized in the ‘Publicity’ section of the Committee report. Application approved subject to a S106 deed of variation.
