It was noted that there was a mistake in the minutes of 17 September 2025. The minute should read: “6(1)(a) – you must not conduct yourself in a manner which could reasonably be regarded as bringing his office or authority into disrepute.” Subject to this correction, the Chair was authorised to sign the minutes of the meetings held on 16 September 2025 , 17 September 2025 and 13 October 2025 as a correct record. It was noted that at the last meeting it had been agreed that a letter be sent to the Ombudsman seeking clarification about the support provided to town and community councillors and the length of time to complete the complaints process. The Deputy Monitoring Officer apologised that this had not been done and said she would share the draft letter with the Committee for comment. She had met the Public Services Ombudsman and had raised the issue with her.
No declarations were received.
