Does dim crynodeb o'r cyfarfod hwn eto. Caiff un ei ysgrifennu pan fydd y cyngor yn cyhoeddi'r cofnodion. Mae'r agenda a'r papurau isod.
Response by Head of Service: Dear Cllr Ratcliffe, Thank you for your question and please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in responding. The reference within the Visitor Levy engagement material to the maintenance and cleaning of public toilets is intended as an example of the types of visitor-related infrastructure and services that could potentially benefit from visitor levy income if a levy were ever introduced. The examples included in the engagement material are illustrative only and do not represent any decisions about future spending priorities. The Council is currently undertaking an initial engagement exercise to understand views from residents, businesses, community organisations and visitors, and no decision has been made to introduce a levy in Powys at this stage. The engagement materials note that any income could potentially be used to support visitor-related infrastructure and services, including facilities such as public toilets. In relation to your specific questions regarding public toilet provision, Powys County Council currently retains responsibility for 2 public toilet facilities across the county, although responsibility for others has transferred to town and community councils over time. Should a Visitor Levy be introduced at some point in the future, decisions regarding the use of any revenue generated would need to be considered and agreed as part of a future decision-making process at that time. No decisions have been made regarding eligibility criteria, funding priorities or the allocation of any potential income and it would therefore be premature to comment on whether any specific facility or location, including those in Hay-on-Wye, would be eligible for support. The purpose of the current engagement exercise is to help inform any future consideration of these matters by gathering views from stakeholders across Powys before any decisions are taken. I hope this is helpful. Cofion gorau / best wishes,
Rhaid i gynghorwyr ddweud pan fydd ganddyn nhw gysylltiad personol â rhywbeth sy'n cael ei drafod, fel swydd, eiddo neu aelod o'r teulu. Mae buddiant sy'n rhagfarnu yn ddigon cryf i'r cynghorydd adael yr ystafell fel arfer a pheidio â chymryd rhan.
Caiff datganiadau eu darllen o'r cofnodion unwaith y byddan nhw wedi'u cyhoeddi.
Dyw'r cyngor ddim wedi cofnodi presenoldeb ar gyfer y cyfarfod hwn.
Yn rhestru cynghorwyr presennol y cyngor yn unig. Nid yw aelodau cyfetholedig, swyddogion a chyn-gynghorwyr yn cael eu dangos.
