RESOLVED a) That an Investigation and Disciplinary Sub-Committee be formed Representatives of the different groups put forward their nominations to sit on the committee. Moved by Councillor Tony Wilcox; Seconded by Councillor Di Clements. The vote, undertaken by way of a show of hands, was carried. RESOLVED b) That Councillors Elwyn Morse, Jamie Adams, Alistair Cameron, Tony Wilcox, Jonathan Grimes, Sam Skyrme-Blackhall and Jon Harvey be appointed as the members of the Investigation and Disciplinary Sub-Committee

In order to hear the personal information of the report, Councillor Di Clements Proposed that the public be excluded from the meeting. This was Seconded by Councillor Mark Carter. The vote, undertaken by way of a show of hands, was carried. RESOLVED That the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 as it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 12 and 13 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Act; and that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information

The Chief Executive went through the details of the report and why a referral for a Statutory Officer was made. It was noted that due to the political makeup of the Committee, the Vice-Chair had stood down, in order to meek the political balances required for the proposed sub-committee. The Recommendation was Moved by Councillor Di Clements; Seconded by Councillor Mark Carter. The vote, undertaken by way of a show of hands, was carried.
