Does dim crynodeb o'r cyfarfod hwn eto. Caiff un ei ysgrifennu pan fydd y cyngor yn cyhoeddi'r cofnodion. Mae'r agenda a'r papurau isod.
Councillor Mogford asked: Cabinet Member, A short (17 second) video was posted on a Labour social media site of your recent visit to Bishton and Langstone Ward where you commented positively on the state of the A48 repairs. You said that “this is gonna protect the integrity of the road hopefully for many years to come”. Question: While you were in Langstone did you visit the Old Roman road which has recently been reconditioned and road markings added? If not, can I bring to your attention the poor quality of the repairs, with potholes already present after less than a week. Also, the preparation prior to resurfacing appears to be very poor. This appears to be another example following on from the recent Catsash Road Works where quality control is sadly lacking. Can you comment of why the work appears to be substandard and will you ‘walk the road’ with me to see for yourself the concerns that this is a road that will not retain its integrity for many years to come.” Do you agree that in talking up the good work that is being done you should not shy away publicly from such problems as these. Councillor Howells responded: The defects identified on Old Roman Road form part of our ongoing quality assurance and contract supervision process. These issues were identified through site supervision and have already been formally raised with the contractor in accordance with the contract requirements. Remedial works for some of the defects was undertaken on Sunday 20th Sep and remaining remedial works are scheduled to be undertaken on Sunday 11th October. My offer for a site meeting to visit the roads, which I already extended to Langstone councillors earlier in the year, still stands. I will resend this email to you. It is understood the Members reference to Cats Ash Road is related to a different service issue that has been resolved.
Rhaid i gynghorwyr ddweud pan fydd ganddyn nhw gysylltiad personol â rhywbeth sy'n cael ei drafod, fel swydd, eiddo neu aelod o'r teulu. Mae buddiant sy'n rhagfarnu yn ddigon cryf i'r cynghorydd adael yr ystafell fel arfer a pheidio â chymryd rhan.
Caiff datganiadau eu darllen o'r cofnodion unwaith y byddan nhw wedi'u cyhoeddi.
Dyw'r cyngor ddim wedi cofnodi presenoldeb ar gyfer y cyfarfod hwn.
Yn rhestru cynghorwyr presennol y cyngor yn unig. Nid yw aelodau cyfetholedig, swyddogion a chyn-gynghorwyr yn cael eu dangos.
