Ystyriodd y Pwyllgor Craffu Perfformiad - Pobl adroddiadau diwedd blwyddyn 2025-26 ar gyfer Gwasanaethau Addysg a Gwasanaethau Plant. Mae'r cofnod yn nodi bod y Pwyllgor yn fodlon ar y ddau adroddiad. Gofynnodd hefyd i swyddogion roi diweddariad ar gynnydd cyllid y Swyddfa Gartref i blant ar remánd yn yr Adroddiad Canol Blwyddyn.

1. Adroddiadau diwedd blwyddyn Addysg a Gwasanaethau Plant 2025-26

   Penderfyniad

   Roedd y Pwyllgor yn fodlon ar adroddiad Gwasanaethau Addysg. Ar gyfer Gwasanaethau Plant, roedd yn fodlon ar yr adroddiad ac argymhellodd bod swyddogion yn rhoi diweddariad ar unrhyw gynnydd o ran cyllid y Swyddfa Gartref i blant ar remánd yn yr Adroddiad Canol Blwyddyn.

   Pam

   Mae gan bob gwasanaeth gynllun sy'n gysylltiedig â Chynllun Corfforaethol y cyngor 2022-27, ac mae'r adolygiadau hyn yn adrodd ar gynnydd yn 2025/26. Dywed adroddiad Addysg fod pob un o'r pum amcan gwasanaeth wedi'u cyflawni, ond bod y galw am leoedd arbenigol yn parhau i dynnu. Dywed adroddiad Gwasanaethau Plant fod y cynnydd yn dda, ond bod ei brif risgiau yn parhau'n uchel, gan gynnwys pwysau ar y gwasanaeth, dibyniaeth ar y farchnad gofal allanol ac oedi gyda system TG gofal cymdeithasol newydd.

   The minutes of the previous meeting held 14 July 2026 were approved as a true and accurate record.

   Service Area End of Year Reports 2025-26

   Cofnod

   i) Education Services The Cabinet Member for Education and Early Years provided an introduction and the Head of Education gave an overview of the report to the Committee. The Committee questioned officers and discussed the content of the report. To access a full recording of the comments made please refer to the Council’s YouTube channel. Comments and recommendations:  The Committee were content with the report. ii) Children Services The Head of Children Services gave an overview of the report to the Committee. The Committee questioned officers and discussed the content of the report. To access a full recording of the comments made please refer to the Council’s YouTube channel. Comments and recommendations:  The Committee recommended that Officers provide updates on any progress of Home Office funding for children in remand in the Mid-Year Report.  The Committee were content with the report.

   Scrutiny Adviser Reports

   Cofnod

   a. Actions Arising The Scrutiny Adviser reported that the Action regarding Direct Payments had been completed and that this would be reflected on the agenda for the next meeting. b. Forward Work Programme Update The Scrutiny Adviser noted there had been no changes to the forward work programme. and that the next meeting was the 8 September 2026. c. Outcomes Monitoring The Scrutiny Adviser noted that there were no updates.
