Does dim crynodeb o'r cyfarfod hwn eto. Caiff un ei ysgrifennu pan fydd y cyngor yn cyhoeddi'r cofnodion. Mae'r agenda a'r papurau isod.
Councillor Mogford asked: Is there any evidence that you can provide that budget consultations at the ward level have made any changes to the final outcome of the budget, say, in terms of the final % increase? Councillor Batrouni responded: Engagement and consultation is an important part of the budget setting process, and this is reported in some detail to Scrutiny and Cabinet annually in considering the proposals. This includes a breakdown of responses by ward within the report to Cabinet. And consultation is carried out in different ways and different places but the Cabinet are made aware of the totality of the key messaging that comes from all of these. All aspects of our individual consultation processes make up the bigger picture. Notwithstanding the above, an example of this particular feedback being used would be last year’s draft budget proposals on the community centres/libraries. The feedback direct from the engagement session held in those areas and the survey feedback contributed to this proposal not progressing. On a wider basis, consultation does impact on Cabinet’s final decision making and that of the full Council. For example, proposed council tax increases have reduced over numerous years following feedback as has proposals to stop Newport Matters.
Rhaid i gynghorwyr ddweud pan fydd ganddyn nhw gysylltiad personol â rhywbeth sy'n cael ei drafod, fel swydd, eiddo neu aelod o'r teulu. Mae buddiant sy'n rhagfarnu yn ddigon cryf i'r cynghorydd adael yr ystafell fel arfer a pheidio â chymryd rhan.
Caiff datganiadau eu darllen o'r cofnodion unwaith y byddan nhw wedi'u cyhoeddi.
Dyw'r cyngor ddim wedi cofnodi presenoldeb ar gyfer y cyfarfod hwn.
Yn rhestru cynghorwyr presennol y cyngor yn unig. Nid yw aelodau cyfetholedig, swyddogion a chyn-gynghorwyr yn cael eu dangos.
