Does dim crynodeb o'r cyfarfod hwn eto. Caiff un ei ysgrifennu pan fydd y cyngor yn cyhoeddi'r cofnodion. Mae'r agenda a'r papurau isod.
Councillor Fouweather asked: I note the article on the Argus today in which you state your ambition to make council services fully digital. Although this might be an ambition of yours there are many people in the city who don’t want to fill in forms on line. They want to speak to somebody on the telephone . There are also those who do not have access to digital services and do not want to make the trip into town. Therefore, can you tell me how you plan to support the people I have mentioned above or will they be conveniently pushed aside and forgotten about in the name of your digital revolution. Councillor Batrouni responded: The Customer Service Improvement Project will look to increase the use of digital channels, providing faster resolution of customer requests, and improved accessibility outside standard working hours. Residents will have more convenient ways to interact with the council, and feedback collected will help drive further service improvements. The project aims to. § Make it easier for residents to access services and provide feedback digitally. § Reduce call and email volumes. § Improve overall satisfaction. Recent satisfaction figures from our automated telephone survey shows a 91% satisfaction rate with their interaction with Customer Services. We have seen an increase in online self-service figures whereby during October, 86% of requests for Council services were completed by residents. Customer Service officers will guide those not familiar with Digital Services over the telephone where appropriate and they will assist visitors Face to Face at the Library to use the self-serve technology available. I am getting worried that the main opposition are not reading council papers, which are also publicly available, and getting all their information from either social media or press articles. As discussed at a recent Scrutiny meeting and where I believe the subsequent press article came from, our ambition remains to deliver more ‘self-service’ functions, enabling residents and businesses to engage with the Council electronically in more areas. This point came from a discussion about enabling us to ensure that the Council’s resources are focussed on key priorities with face-to-face services for more complex enquiries such as housing and social care. Within our Digital Strategy work, also reported to Scrutiny and Cabinet annually, we support digital skills and inclusion for citizen, such as through Adult Community Learning digital skills courses at various levels and services provided by the library service and work and skills teams digital courses and support. This includes support such as how to stay in contact with friends and family using digital devices, also important to our residents. We offer Public Wi-Fi in community buildings and on Newport transport buses and connectivity within some of our adult care homes. We moved our face to face contact to the central library building, closer to the bus station, recognising the need for citizens. We also need to recognise the many residents who do wish to make sure of online services and we continue to make these contacts as effective and easy to use as possible.
Rhaid i gynghorwyr ddweud pan fydd ganddyn nhw gysylltiad personol â rhywbeth sy'n cael ei drafod, fel swydd, eiddo neu aelod o'r teulu. Mae buddiant sy'n rhagfarnu yn ddigon cryf i'r cynghorydd adael yr ystafell fel arfer a pheidio â chymryd rhan.
Caiff datganiadau eu darllen o'r cofnodion unwaith y byddan nhw wedi'u cyhoeddi.
Dyw'r cyngor ddim wedi cofnodi presenoldeb ar gyfer y cyfarfod hwn.
Yn rhestru cynghorwyr presennol y cyngor yn unig. Nid yw aelodau cyfetholedig, swyddogion a chyn-gynghorwyr yn cael eu dangos.
