The SWAP Assistant Director presented a summary of the report. The Committee approved the Internal audit. The SWAP Assistant Director confirmed an audit charter would be provided to Committee in May. The SWAP Assistant Director agreed to provide the Committee with information on Global Internal Audit Standards following their introduction in April. They also agreed to provide information on the transition to SWAP.
The Performance and Programme Manager presented a summary of the report. The Committee would like reassurance that the new WCCIS system would have compatibility with the other regions within Wales. The Performance and Programme Manager confirmed a written response would be provided. The Committee noted the contents of the report.

The Governance Officer briefing updated the Committee on the Forward Work Programme. The Committee agreed to approve the 2025/26 Forward Work Programme in the May 2025 Committee The Committee requested members be formally written to in regard to the position of chair and vice chair of the Governance and Audit Committee.
