The Chair, Councillor J.Jones, welcomed all to the meeting. The Chair mentioned that P2023/0858- Lanzatech, Sustainable Aviation Fuel production in Port Talbot, the applicant has withdrawn the application prior to signing the S106 legal agreement as they are no longer proceeding with the development at this site. In relation to Y Bryn Wind farm, the applicant was considered, went to judicial review but was refused.
There were no declarations of interest received.
The minutes of the meeting held on 28 July 2026, were approved as an accurate record.

Three-storey rear extension, external staircase and associated external alterations to fenestration to facilitate the retention of Ground Floor Offices and Conversion of Upper Floors to Emergency Refuge Accommodation, as detailed in the circulated report. The Local Ward Member (Cllr Nathan Goldup-John) was present to give his representations at the meeting, the applicant’s representative was also present to give his representations.
