Reason for Decision: To advance the Council’s regeneration objectives, secure future funding, and maintain a collaborative, community-led approach to town centre development. Implementation of Decision: The decision will be implemented after the three day call in period.
Decision: That the Learner Travel Assistance Policy, as detailed within the circulated report, be implemented for the Academic Year 2027-28. Reason for Decision: To present the final Learner Travel Assistance policy to Cabinet for approval to be implemented for Academic Year 2027-28. Implementation of Decision: The decision will be implemented after the three day call in period. Consultation: A public consultation on the draft Learner Travel Assistance Policy was undertaken between 1 June and 5 July 2026.
