Decision: That having had due regard to the Integrated Impact Assessment: • The consultation on a 3.5% council tax increase for the 2026/27 financial year, be agreed. • A consultation period of three weeks with the closing date being Friday 6th February 2026, be agreed. Reasons for Decisions: To ensure the process commences to set a balanced budget for the 2026/27 financial year. Implementation of Decisions: The decision was agreed for immediate implementation, following the support of the relevant Scrutiny Chair.
