Decisions: That Option 4 (a) be approved, as follows: 1. To revert to free parking in the on-street layby parking along The Princess Margaret Way. 2. To introduce £1 and £2 parking tariffs for one-hour and two-hour parking respectively, in addition to the existing £4 all day tariff at Bay View, Ocean Way, Scarlet Avenue and Victoria Road car parks, with an implementation date of the 1st April 2026. 3. To suspend enforcement action in respect of the laybys, until the completion of the legal processes required to revoke the tariffs associated with on-street parking at the seafront. Reasons for Decisions: To decide the parking charges at Aberavon beach front. Implementation of Decisions: The decisions will be implemented after the three day call in period. Consultation: This item has been subject to external consultation.

RESOLVED: That pursuant to Regulation 4 (3) and (5) of Statutory Instrument 2001 No 2290, the public be excluded for the following item of business which involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the relevant Paragraphs of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
