Resolved: That pursuant to Section 100BA (2) and (7) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded for the following item of business which involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 12 of part 4 of schedule 12A of the above Act
The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting.
The following Members made declarations of interest at the start of the meeting: Councillor A.Lodwig - Urgent Item – Application to Renew a Hackney Carriage Proprietor Licence – as he knows of the Applicant. He did not feel this interest was prejudicial, so was able to take part in the discussion and voting thereon. Councillor C.Jordan - Urgent Item – Application to Renew a Hackney Carriage Proprietor Licence – as he knows of the Applicant. He did not feel this interest was prejudicial, so was able to take part in the discussion and voting thereon.
Resolved: That the minutes of the previous meeting (formerly known as Registration and Licensing Committee),held on the 12 May 2025, be approved as an accurate record.
Because of the need to deal with the information in Private Item 6, the Chair agreed it could be raised as an Urgent Item at today’s meeting. Reason: Due to the time element.
