RESOLVED: That in accordance with Officers’ recommendations, Application No. P2024/0543 - Parc Pelenna, Fairyland Road, Tonna - Outline Planning Application (All Matters Reserved) for a proposed holiday resort comprising 120 lodges, associated leisure building offering hospitality and pool, new access road, parking, facilities and associated infrastructure including sustainable drainage and on-site wastewater treatment, landscaping, engineering operations and lighting, at Fairyland Road, Tonna be Approved, subject to the recommendations contained within the circulated report.
RESOLVED: That in accordance with Officers’ recommendations, Application No. P2024/0543 - P2025/0314 - Llangatwg Comprehensive School - Proposed demolition of existing comprehensive school and loss of existing sports fields, construction of new comprehensive school, modified car parking arrangement, inclusion of sports pitches and multi-use games areas, lighting, landscaping and associated infrastructure works, at Llangatwg Comprehensive School, Main Road, Cadoxton, SA10 8DB be Approved, subject to the recommendations contained within the circulated report and amendment sheet.

A site visit was proposed for Application No. P2024/0543 Parc Pelenna, Fairyland Road, Tonna -Outline Planning Application (All Matters Reserved) for a proposed holiday resort comprising 120 lodges, associated leisure building offering hospitality and pool, new access road, parking, facilities and associated infrastructure including sustainable drainage and on-site wastewater treatment, landscaping, engineering operations and lighting, at Fairyland Road, Tonna following discussion during agenda item 5. Following the conclusion of the vote, the proposal for a site visit was not supported.

Officers made a presentation to the Planning Committee as detailed in the circulated report on Application No: P2024/0543 - Parc Pelenna, Fairyland Road, Tonna - Outline Planning Application (All Matters Reserved) for a proposed holiday resort comprising 120 lodges, associated leisure building offering hospitality and pool, new access road, parking, facilities and associated infrastructure including sustainable drainage and on-site wastewater treatment, landscaping, engineering operations and lighting, at Fairyland Road, Tonna. The Local Ward Member (Cllr. D. Lewis) was present to give their representations at the meeting along with a registered speaker against the Application, and the Applicants representative, who exercised his right to reply.
