1. Formal Election of the Mayor

   Resolved that: · Councillor D Isaac be elected as Mayor for the Municipal Year 2026/2027 The retiring Mayor Councillor P Layton addressed the Council The Senior Solicitor presented the past Mayors Medallion to Councillor P Layton and presented Councillor D Sammon with the past Consorts Pendant

2. Formal Election of the Deputy Mayor

   Resolved that: · Councillor S Thomas be elected as Deputy Mayor for the Municipal Year 2026/2027 The Civic Party then retired from the room to exchange Regalia and Chains of Office The Declarations of Office were administered by the Senior Solicitor for the incoming Mayor and the incoming Deputy Mayor for the 2026/2027 Municipal Year The incoming Mayor, Councillor D Isacc addressed the Council

3. Appointment to Committees for the Municipal Year

   Resolved that: · The appointment of members to Cabinet be noted · The appointment of members to committees as contained within the report be accepted

4. Committee Meeting Cycle for the Municipal Year

   Resolved that: · The Committee Cycle for the 2026/2027 Municipal Year be approved

5. Representatives to Other Bodies for the Municipal Year

   Resolved that: · The representation set out in paragraph 6.0 of the report be accepted · Delegated authority be granted to the political leaders to nominate replacement representative(s) to vacant / unfilled posts and the agreed nomination(s) be supplied to the Chief Executive be approved
