Resolved that: The formal adoption of the priorities presented by the Labour Group as guiding principles for the administration be approved and, in doing so, instruction of the Chief Executive Officer to ensure that MTCBC’s Corporate Plan aligns with the priorities, be approved.
Resolved that: The establishment of a generic 12 place WM LRB provision for pupils aged between Reception and Year 6 with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), at Ysgol Gymraeg Rhyd Y Grug, from September 2025, be approved.

The following questions were raised: • What challenges do you perceive there to be with implementing this? • Do you have any ideas for us having a fully integrated approach to working with the community? • If these aims are successful medium to long term, how do you believe that will benefit residents in Merthyr Tydfil?
