   Statement of Accounts 2024/25

   RESOLVED: (a) That the Audit Wales report - Audit of the Financial Statements 2024/25 - Flintshire County Council - be noted; (b) That the final version of the Statement of Accounts 2024/25 be approved, following consideration of the Audit Wales report; and (c) That the Letter of Representation be approved.

   The Corporate Finance Manager presented the report (agenda item 4) to seek approval of the final audited version of the Statement of Accounts 2024/25. The key points in the report by Audit Wales were summarised by Mike Whiteley who thanked the Council’s Finance team for their co-operation throughout the audit. During the discussion, the Strategic Finance Manager responded to a number of questions. The contributions and input by all those involved in the audit were recognised. The recommendations in the report were supported.
