A proposal to grant planning permission in accordance with the Officer’s recommendation was lost. Members, contrary to the Officer’s recommendation, proposed to reaffirm the previous resolution on the basis of impact of the additional traffic on the capacity and safety of the road network the Transport Assessment was inadequate and no financial contribution had been proposed towards the link road, which was considered to be essential to the delivery of housing development on the south east side of Abergele.
