RESOLVED that the following planning application be granted subject to the conditions detailed within the Report/Addendum of the Head of Place and Sustainability and or reported at the meeting:- PL/08735 Change of use of former night club to residential accommodation units for veterans who have served in HM Armed Forces (Sui Generis) including first and second floor extensions and new building proposed to provide bin and cycle storage at 33 Murray Street, Llanelli, SA15 1BQ [NOTE: Councillors T. Davies and S. Williams, having earlier declared an interest in this item left the meeting during its consideration]. 3.2 RESOLVED that consideration of the following planning application be deferred to enable the Committee to undertake a site visit: PL/06580 Proposed residential development, access road and associated infrastructure on land at Parc Pencrug and associated drainage works at Land at Parc Pencrug and Maes y Farchnad, Llandeilo [NOTE: Mr H. Towns having earlier declared an interest in this item left the meeting during its consideration]. REASON: To view the site in light of the concerns raised in relation to traffic generation and connectivity. A Site Visit would enable the Committee to undertake an assessment of the application having regard to the site’s context and topography.

Williams has been working with Helping Homeless Veterans UK to transform the building. Mr H. Towns – Senior Development and Enforcement Manager 3.2 – Planning Application PL/06580: Proposed residential development, access road and associated infrastructure on land at Parc Pencrug and associated drainage works at Land at Parc Pencrug and Maes y Farchnad, Llandeilo Mr H. Towns lives within approximately 500 yards of the site and part of the application refers to an area of land ‘Maes y Farchnad’ which is adjacent to his parent’s property.
