RESOLVED that the following planning applications be granted subject to the conditions detailed within the Report/Addendum of the Head of Place and Sustainability and or reported at the meeting:- PL/04400 Variation of Condition 2 on S/36948 (to allow a further 5 years for the submission of reserved matters) at Llanelli Wellness and Life Science Village, Llanelli. PL/05349 Residential development at Land off Heol Hathren, Cwmann, Lampeter, SA48 8JR Residential development at Land off Heol Hathren, Cwmann, Lampeter, SA48 8JR Following a presentation by the Senior Development Management Officer, the Committee was advised that the Head of Place and Sustainability was recommending approval of the application, subject to the conditions, for the reasons detailed within the written report. Representations were received objecting to the application which re-iterated the points detailed within the Head of Place and Sustainability’s report and included the points detailed below: · Resident safety due to increase in traffic · Highway, parking and vehicle access · Disruption during construction of the development including health and safety concerns · Environmental impact · No direct access from the development site to the main road · Number of recent developments in the surrounding area. The Agent and Senior Development Management Officer responded to the points raised. PL/07616 Engineering operations comprising formation of plateau to enable future development at Land South of the Nantycaws Recycling Centre, Llanddarog Road, Nantycaws, Carmarthen, SA32 8BG
