RESOLVED: Pursuant to this Committee’s delegated powers the following development management applications be determined in accordance with the recommendation set out in the reports of the Director of Planning, Transport and Environment, subject to any further amendments as detailed below and notification be given of the decisions in accordance with Section 70 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or Section 74 of the Planning (Listed Building & Conservation) Act 1990. APPLICATION GRANTED (Councillor Ed Stubbs left the meeting during discussion of this item in accordance with his prejudicial interest, the Deputy Chair, Councillor Irene Humphreys took the Chair). 24/00110/FUL – BUTETOWN Land off Lewis Road, Splott, Cardiff Construction of a replacement school for Willows High School and associated works. APPLICATION DEFERRED 23/02265/DCH The Coach House, Cathedral Court, 6 Cathedral Green, Llandaff, Cardiff, CF5 2EB. Roof extension including new dormers. Reason for deferral: For a site visit to take place.

The Chair, Councillor Ed Stubbs declared a personal and prejudicial interest in the respect of application 24/00110/FUL on the basis that he was speaking as a Ward Councillor in support of the application and that he had campaigned in favour of the building of the new school.
The minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee on 11 April were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.
The Committee noted that a petition had been received in respect of application 23/2235/HSE, however the petitioner did not speak to the application.
