1. Taxi Fare Tariff Increase 2026

   RESOLVED to recommend that the report be accepted and that fares are not increased at this time, primarily due to the small number of respondents to the consultation. FURTHER RESOLVED that the matter could be reconsidered if extenuating circumstances arose, such as a significant increase in fuel prices, and the Committee asked that such a request be supported by at least 10% of the Hackney Carriage drivers for further the matter to be considered again.
