Councillor J. Holt declared an interest in this item but remained in the meeting whilst the report was discussed. Consideration was given to the report of the Acting Joint Director of Economy & Place. Following consideration and critical questioning of the report the Committee unanimously AGREED to recommend: - endorsement of this latest version of the Blueprint for Growth for wider consultation; and - should any changes be proposed that a revised Blueprint for Growth be submitted to Committee for further consideration.

Consideration was given to the report of the Scrutiny and Democratic Officer. The Committee was advised that the following item would be considered at a future meeting of the Scrutiny Committee: - County Borough-Wide Placemaking Plans The Committee requested that an all Member Briefing be arranged relating to the condition of the highway network including future plans. The Committee unanimously AGREED, subject to the foregoing amendment, that Option 2 be endorsed, namely that the Forward Work Programme for the meeting on 21st April, 2026 be agreed.
To receive and consider the following report which in the opinion of the proper officer was an exempt item taking into account consideration of the public interest test and that the press and public should be excluded from the meeting (the reason for the decision for the exemption was available on a schedule maintained by the proper officer).
