BEREAVEMENT The Chair paid tribute to the former Borough Councillor Garth Collier who had sadly passed away over the weekend. The Chair and the Planning Committee passed their condolences to the family of Garth and a minute’s silence was undertaken as a mark of respect. SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION It was noted that no requests had been received for the simultaneous translation service.

Consideration was given to the report of the Team Manager Development Management, whereupon:- P/2024/0176 Land at Blaina Road, Brynmawr, Proposed development of 1no. Burger King drive thru (A3 Use Class), 1no. Pizza restaurant/takeaway (A3 Use Class) and 1no. tanning shop (Sui Generis) Upon a vote being taken, 5 Members voted in favour of the application and 2 Members voted against the application, it was therefore RESOLVED that Planning permission be GRANTED subject to the conditions detailed in the report.
