AGREED, subject to the foregoing that the decisions be recorded as a true record of proceedings.
AGREED the following:- (a) Supported the Gwent PSB in demonstrating its commitment to ending new HIV transmissions by 2030 by signing the Paris Declaration and becoming Fast Track Gwent. (b) Invite elected members from across Gwent to attend information sessions on Fast Track Cities and living with HIV in the 21st Century
AGREED that the report be accepted and agreed the framework for the Annual report as presented and the timeline and resources to produce the Annual Report in line with the Well-being of Future Generations Act.
AGREED the following:- (a) Noted and discussed the progress update relating to the Climate & Nature Area of Focus. (b) Approved the proposed next step (3.6) and provided the leadership needed to support and enable a PSB Climate & Nature service leads/senior managers workshop in early Autumn 2025, to start improving the effectiveness of collaborative delivery to address the climate and nature emergencies in Gwent.
AGREED the following:- (a) Use the JSA and GIF to support evidence-based decision making across Gwent. (b) Provided feedback to the Gwent Public Health team in how to improve on the products to better support decision making. (c) Shared how PSB members have used the JSA and GIF. (d) Support the provision of additional local indicators/datasets to the Gwent Public Health team for inclusion in future editions of the JSA and GIF. VERBAL UPDATE – FORWARD WORK PROGRAMME – 17TH SEPTEMBER 2025 Items to be presented at the meeting on 17th September • Area of Focus: Give every child the best start in life • Area of Focus: Everyone lives in a place they feel safe

The following declarations of interest and dispensations were raised. Councillor P. Jones – Independent Member for the Aneurin Bevan Health Board Councillor D.H. Williams – Current Chair of TVA (Torfaen Voluntary Alliance) and attend PSB in that capacity. CHAIR’S ANNOUNCEMENT The Chair informed that The Future Generation Commissioner for Wales has released a 10 year report and it will be presented to the September meeting of the Gwent PSB.
