Amendments to the Council’s Constitution.
RESOLVED – T H A T the changes to the relevant officer delegations as set out in paragraphs 2.2 to 2.4 of the report be approved and Section 26 of the Constitution be amended accordingly. Reason for decision To update the Officer Delegation Scheme within the current Constitution.

RESOLVED – (1) T H A T the amendments to the Multi-Location Meetings Policy as set out in paragraphs 2.1 and 2.2 of the report be included in the Council’s Constitution. (2) T H A T Section 18 of the Constitution Contract Procedure Rules be replaced with a revised Section 18 (revised Appendix A) to the report as set out in paragraph 2.5 of the report. Amendments to the Council’s Constitution.
RESOLVED – (1) T H A T the amendments to Section 18 titled Contract Procedure Rules of the Council Constitution, as outlined in Appendix 1 and paragraphs 2.1 to 2.8 of the covering report be approved and the Council’s Constitution amended accordingly. (2) T H A T the officer delegations as outlined in paragraph 2.9 of the covering report be approved and the Council’s Constitution amended accordingly. Reasons for decisions (1) To reflect legislative changes introduced from 24th February, 2025. (2) Having regard to legislation and in the interests of good governance.

Amendments to the Council’s Constitution.
RESOLVED – T H A T the amendments to the Council’s Constitution as detailed in paragraphs 2.1 to 2.8 of the report be agreed and the Council’s Constitution amended accordingly. Reason for decision To update the Constitution to reflect the Council’s changes in approach to Scrutiny and to ensure the Council is undertaking a robust approach to good governance.

RESOLVED – (1) T H A T the new additions to the Council’s Constitution as detailed in paragraph 2.2 of the report be approved and the Constitution be updated accordingly. (2) T H A T the amendments related to Scrutiny in the Council’s Constitution as detailed in paragraph 2.3 of the report be approved and the Constitution be amended accordingly. (3) T H A T the amendments related to changes in the officer delegations and contract procedure rules in the Council’s Constitution as detailed in paragraphs 2.4 to 2.5 of the report be approved and the Constitution be amended accordingly. …
