2026/27 Budget Modelling and Consultation Requirements
RESOLVED: that (1) the updated Budget Position for 2026/27 be noted. (2) the proposed approach to Budget Consultation for 2026/27 be agreed, and subject to that agreement: · it be noted that the formal budget consultation will commence on the 8th January 2026 and run until midnight on the 1st February 2026. The results of the consultation process will then be considered by Cabinet in preparing their final 2026/27 budget proposal. AGREED: that the Chairperson, on behalf of the Committee, writes to the Cabinet Member conveying the observations and recommendations of the Committee when discussing the way forward.
