RESOLVED: that 1. changes to the Council’s Single Status Pay and Grading Structure as a result of the NJC for Local Government Services pay agreement 2022, by the removal of SCP 1 be agreed and as a consequence a spot point Grades for Grade 1 (SCP2) and Grade 2 (SCP3) be agreed 2. the increase in annual leave agreed by the NJC for Local Government Services employees be noted and the additional leave for other Council employees identified in paragraph 30, be agreed under local agreement. 3. RESOLVED: The Council AGREED to: (i) confirm that the decision to agree the Pay Policy Statement constitutes agreement to implement the cost of living pay increases determined by the relevant negotiating body effective from 1st April 2023, as accounted for in the Budget set and agreed by Council on 9th March 2023.
