5.1 The TLS presented the report and reminded Members to consider if they were satisfied that progress had been made against the recommendations and if they were happy to remove the item from further annual monitoring. 5.2 The Chair went through each item and allowed Members to ask questions, for which the following responses were provided by officers. • In relation to the Highway Asset Management State of the Asset Report – Carriageway Maintenance, the Chair noted that recommendation 1 requested an annual update report from the Executive Member for Environment regarding the Highway Asset Management Plan, which was due later in the year. Members agreed that this recommendation should remain on the monitor until the report had been received and circulated to all Members. • A Member commented that any recommendations shown as amber or red should remain on the monitor, while those shown as green could be removed. The Chair noted that recommendation 3 was still being actioned due to unexpected delays in retrieving the data. Members agreed that recommendation 3 should also remain on the monitor until it had been actioned. • In relation to the Pre-Draft Blueprint for Growth, Members noted that eight recommendations had been made and accepted. No further comments or questions were raised and Members agreed that this item could be removed from further annual monitoring. • In relation to the Sports Facilities Leasing Policy and the Provision and Maintenance of Play Parks, Members noted that a number of recommendations remained in the process of being actioned. Members agreed that these recommendations should remain on the monitor until they had been fully actioned. • In relation to the Draft Blueprint for Growth, Members noted that a number of recommendations had been made and accepted, with one recommendation outstanding. This related to the Committee receiving an annual report update highlighting progress against the measures. As the annual stage had not yet been reached, Members agreed that this recommendation should remain on the monitor until the update had been received. 5.3 The Committee noted the updates and clarification provided. Members agreed that recommendations where they were satisfied appropriate progress had been made could be removed from further annual monitoring, subject to the outstanding recommendations identified above remaining on the monitor for further update.

Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
