In accordance with the Code of Conduct adopted by the City & County of Swansea, no interests were declared.
Resolved that the Minutes of the Economy & Infrastructure Service Transformation Committee held on 3 April and 21 May 2026 be approved and signed as correct records.
The Terms of Reference of Service Transformation Committees were provided ‘for information’.
The Chair stated that following discussions with relevant Cabinet Members and Officers the potential topics included: 1) 23 July 2026 Renewables/District Heat Network Culture Strategy 2) 10 September 2026 Local Growth Fund Pride in Place 3) 29 October 2026 Bus Network Metro 4) 10 December 2026 Events Strategy Parks Development Strategy 5) 14 January 2026 Local Housing Strategy 6) 25 February 2026 LDP Update & Next Steps Placemaking Plan & Strategy The Committee discussed the proposed topics for the Work Plan 2026-2027 and suggested that the Work Plan also include an update on Waterways (Tawe River Corridor). Resolved that: 1) The Work Plan for the 2026-2027 Municipal Year (as set out above) be agreed.
The Chair referred to the dates of future meetings provided on the agenda. Resolved that all future meetings in 2026-2027 commence at 2 pm.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
