Democratic Services Committee Annual Report 2024-2025.
Minute
The Head of Democratic Services provided the Democratic Services Committee with the Annual Report for the Municipal Year 2024-2025. The report outlined the work of the Committee during that period. Resolved that: 1) The Democratic Services Committee Annual Report 2024-2025 be forwarded to Council for information.

Councillor Training & Development Programme 2025-2027.
Minute
The Head of Democratic Services presented a report in order to commence the development of a Councillor Training & Development Programme 2025-2027. Councillors suggested the following areas of Training & Development to be included in the Programme 2025-2027: Ø Office 365 refresher training Ø Social Media Ø Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ø Emergency First Aid The Head of Democratic Services stated he would liaise with officers in order to consider these additional topics. Resolved that: 1) A Councillor Training & Development Programme 2025-2027 be drafted and submitted to a future Democratic Services Committee for consideration.

The Head of Democratic Services explained that main topic that the Democratic Services Committee would need to consider during 2025-2026 would be the Induction & Training Programme for the next Local Government Elections in 2027.
