There is no summary of this meeting yet. One is written once the council publishes the minutes. The agenda and papers are below.
Response by Head of Service: Snow gates are used in some of the highest points in Britain, where extreme snowfall is a common occurrence. In Powys, when we can, signs are placed at strategic points on the road network to warn motorists of difficult driving conditions. We would advise all motorists to check the weather forecasts and reported road conditions before making any journeys during inclement weather, and to drive safely and according to the conditions at all times.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
