There is no summary of this meeting yet. One is written once the council publishes the minutes. The agenda and papers are below.
Response by Head of Service: Thank you for your questions. When the gulley machine is next scheduled to be deployed in Hay? All our routine maintenance levels of service are confirmed within our Highways Asset Management Plan. Gully Emptying occurs on our Class 1 (A roads) and Class 2 ( B roads) once per year. Urban towns and villages are cleansed once per year. The remaining 34% of our network is cleansed in response to highways inspections and external reports received. The gully machine will be deployed in Hay during the autumn period as is the normal schedule for urban areas before the winter period. When can we expect to see more regular visits from the road sweeper? All our routine maintenance levels of service are confirmed within our Highways Asset Management Plan. We do not have a sweeping regime, and this is done on a response-based approach following highways inspections and external reports received. As with the gully machine sweepers are deployed to sweep urban areas during the autumn / winter period and in particular falling leaf fall which usually happens following a period of cold weather.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
