Response by the Cabinet Member: • The Strategic Property team do not currently have plans to review memorials where they are located on PCC site/assets. • The Strategic Property team is not aware of any approaches to date. • Should an approach be made, the Property Portfolio Holder would be informed by the Strategic Property Team and direction from council would be sought on how best to consult with residents, stakeholders and/or those persons impacted by said proposals. • The Duke of Wellington monument in Brecon is held in trust. The Trust is managed by Brecon Town Council and any question should be directed to the Town Council.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
