There is no summary of this meeting yet. One is written once the council publishes the minutes. The agenda and papers are below.
Response by Head of Service: I refer to your question (Roads to Stone Tracks) sent to Cllr Jackie Charlton on the 11th June 2024, which has been passed to me as the question is of an operational matter. I refer to a previous answer that was given to a Question to Portfolio Holders from 12 March 2023 on the same subject: The proposed saving you have referred to has been placed into future years and is only a broad estimate, as further consideration and detail is still required to be formulated before a specific proposal is presented for consideration. This will not be a decision we would take lightly and would need to be considered and decided upon in the context of other pressures and saving proposals at that time. Any change in policy that may or may not be required would be subject to the normal democratic process. I would therefore take this opportunity to reaffirm that no decision has been made in respect of this proposed saving.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
